Transforming the World

We already have transformed ourselves as an institution. Together, we have consistently improved the diversity and academic profile of our student body. Together, we have consistently enhanced the size and research productivity of our faculty. Together, we have consistently improved the quality of our campus as a place to live, learn, build community, and generate the ideas and talent for which we have become known. Now it is time to direct our transformational energy outward. We have been transformed. Now we must be transformative. The campaign is our response to this new mission.

By investing in scholarships, we will ensure that the Rensselaer educational experience is accessible to even more of the students who will use their talent and ambition to change the world. By investing in academic innovation, we will ensure our curriculum prepares our students for futures that we can only just begin to see. By investing in endowed faculty and their cross-disciplinary research support, we will ensure our leadership in the discovery and application of the latest ideas in science and technology. By investing in campus resources, we will continue to eliminate barriers between people and disciplines, deepen our collaborative culture, and make Rensselaer the model for how intellectual inquiry, civic engagement, and creative talent can be supported.
